Not to mention that once each side of the baffles contain water there is no pressure on one side, the pressure is equaled out. 3/32 will be fine surely.
On another note I had a local glass company cut all mine out of 1/8 for under 20 bux. Well worth it
Ok I got one side done I have a 4 1/2" chamber for my overflow down tube then 3 baffles so water flows over, under, over
How many baffles should I have for my return pump side. I plan on running cheato in the middle and eventually some sand and maybe a rock or two because I want to have a mandarin goby
I checked it out I just can't view the pics on my phone for some reason.
A few questions ok my bubble trap is 8" high and the center is 8 1/2" high with a 1/2" gap on the bottom making it 9"
Ok on the side for my return pump how should I do the baffles? And I'm assuming I need to make them like 7 1/2" or something. Should I just put one single baffle?
yeah well i mean, you can do it that way. i only made a bubble trap for the return pump side of mine. there really no use for two bubble traps, and it just consumes space. on the drain side i did one wall of glass but with a sepration about 2' up, about 1a' apart, why? because i wanted the water to be able to move thru the refugium side diagonally, rather than the water just flowing on top of the refuge, it is forced to move thru the cheato and rock. why the 2" picec for the lower half of the wall? because if i just left a gap between the baffle and the floor, then if i tried to put sand in the refuge, it would just cause the sand to blow everywhere. hope this helps! check out my thread if you get home and can view the pics
