Before planning all the way through, I thought it would be a good idea to get a corner frag mount and a cheap monti frag to grow out in my extremely empty corner. But, as lack of planning would have it, while trying to determine where to affix the mount my par meter gave me mostly 20,30,40 (last one was maybe a stretch). In order to stubbornly still make it work, I’ve been thinking about getting a cheap nano/pico clip on spotlight.
I’m trying to imagine it wouldn’t look that bad aesthetically. In addition, is it worth illuminating the shadows over there (til the cap grows out enough to re-shade) and possibly up the par for the already existing corals on the fringe of my footprint (cyphastrea, duncan)? I figure I can manipulate a light shade to illuminate a small select section; I hope. Or would a cheap DIY reflector on the outside of the glass, even something as simple as white paper (I should test this), make a worthwhile difference in suitable par? Is this just completely stupid and should I let the horse (idea) die? Dumb post, I know.

an aspect I did not think of.
