Simple Indonesian Reef Tank

Hi, my name is Nano from Indonesia
I want to share my mix tank reef.

Dimension: 120*60*60 cm 12 mm glass
Sump: 100*50*40 cm 8 mm glass
Filtration: Live rock, Live sand, macro algae and Protein skimmer with Resun king 2 pump
Lighting: Kessil A150 Ocean Blue, DIY 12 pcs Cree XTE Royal Blue 450-455nm + XTE Cool White drive with Meanwell ELN 60-48, DIY 30pcs 3w epistar Cool white: Royal Blue 450-455nm = 1:1 drive with Meanwell LPC 60-1750.
Cooler: AC Fan 18cm
Location tank: outside my house (terrace)
Start: May 29, 2014






Water Parameter June 01, 2014
Before add Nanosorb2 Phosver 1000ml
-NO3: 5.1 mg/L
-PO4: 0.23 mg/L
-SiO2: 8.2 mg/L
*noted: Just add Nanosorb2 Phosver at maintank and stir using pvc pipe.

after 12 hours
-NO3: 5.1 mg/L
-PO4: 0.20 mg/L
-SiO2: 8.2 mg/L

Still not clear, but it’s ok

Let’s try some zoas

- NO3: 4.1 mg/L
- NH3: 0.06 mg/L
- SiO2: 10.1 mg/L

Try to add some bacteria to my tank (dose 1gram/1000liter of water)

pro bio blue... Could cause snow storm... But it’s ok.. Add skimmer to remove organic and other particulate from water.

Add some LR in sump

Nanosorb2 Phosver in maintank

Finally buy some fish net to put my nanosorb2.

Some experimental biota

Under Royal blue 450-455nm

red algae and serulata for sexy shrimp home
