I’ve been running this skimmer for a little over a year now with micro bubbles. I’ve had it sitting about 8-9 inches of water and I’ve adjusted over time but the bubbles are always there.

today I decided to clean the sump and skimmer and I raised it a about an inch. Seems like it’s even worse now.

how long does it take for it to stop producing the bubbles after adjusting it?

Pics if you can. I'd like to see where the water level is inside the skimmer body... lots of people using the simplicity dc pump skimmers I'm sure.
Sure we or someone can help you. Just need pics. Ty.

I’ve got the 240 model in 10” of water. No micro bubbles, but oddly 10” depth is the only way I can get it to skim at all. Any lower and the water level just stays a good 6” below the neck. I’ve tried multiple new pumps/power sources. It works like a charm but I have to keep it pretty deep. Bio load isn’t an issue. I have an overstocked 150 gallon which I feed 3-4 times a day heavy handedly

Ok so I’ve raised th skimmer a bit and it looks like the micro bubbles aren’t as visible. I will let it sit for a bit too see what happens.

But I’m also wondering if I should close my air valve a bit? Does this looks ok?
