I recently added a small six line Wrasse to my 32 gallon. A few days later I added a purple fire fish. The fire fish quickly disappeared, which I read is common because they’re a timid fish.

It’s now about 3 days later and I see the fire fish come out when feeding brine shrimp. However every time I see the fire fish barely come out, it appears the wrasse speeds down to his little “cave” area and it bullying him.

Do y’all think this is just temporary or should I remove one of them?

Thank you!!

they should have been added in the reverse order. It may stop or he may kill the firefish

No, your firefish will most likely perish. Six lines can be terrors and usually are.

That’s what I was afraid of… I pretty specifically asked this about the six line at the LFS and the guy was just like a lot of fish can be bullies.

Looks like I’ll be trying to get him out since I have other fish I want to add down the line.

What’s the best way to get a fish like this out?

The nyos fish trap with a line attached so you can trigger it from a distance but I don't know if you would have room for it.
