Skeltor Eel all of a sudden only eats Krill???

I've had a skeletor eel now for about a year and a half during which time he's grown from a tiny little pencil to a 2 foot x 1.5" thick beast, lol. I've routinly fed him a mix of shrimp, oyster, squid and krill but over the past month or so he refuses everything except Krill which he still eats ferociously. If he does accidentally bite on a shrimp or something else he will spit it out.

Anyone have any experience with an eel changing their preference like this and how I might get him back on a healthy diet? I was thinking maybe to hold off on feeding for a few weeks? I feed him 1x per week currently.

Yeah I would just let him fast for a couple weeks.

I've had a number of fish stop eating certain things or prefer to only eat certain things. This can also be a faze. when you reintroduce feeding, try something new, my eels love octopus.
