Well what I’ve come up with can’t decide this will have a lot of spots for corals which I like. Just can’t get a good 2 island rock formation def looking for opinions!
Both are good skimmers I've had both. Skimmers with DC pumps are quieter. Also get one that is easy to clean. I spent a lot on an AC skimmer that was loud and wouldn't come apart for cleaning so replaced it with a DC that has a removable base plate. I paid more but definitely worth it.Umm been debating really between skimz and octopus but also I am going to wait to put one till after the cycle been reading to much stuff about not running one during cycle or to run one so ima go without till after cycle
Agreed, I can already see an island on the left if you take out those 2-3 rocks in the middle. And then if you remove 1-2 more from the right, I’m sure you can re-stack that into a nice island.
Lately I’m of the mind that ~0.5 lb per gallon of display is where most of the really dreamy tanks are.
For a RSR 250 that’s only like 25-30 lbs.
