Most definitely! Ran one for 2yrs on my 26g. Awesome skimmer. Love the external pump :)

It's pretty quiet. My jebao wp25 is louder than the skimmer, there's just a little bubbling. The collection cup lid vibrates, so I have a high tech piece of masking tape holding it down.

i am loyal to reef octopus because I have 2 of them.I also like the clear plastic .I dont really like the colorful aquamaxx look.almost 35 bucks cheaper
