I need some opinion!

My tank is almost done! It as a 20g drop-off. I need 2 opinions.

1- Which circulation pump is best for me? I am worried about blind spots in the deepest part of the drop off. Thinking about the aqamai kps or the icecap 1k

2- what to do in my second chamber (it is 4x4in) ? I am almost convinced I should invest in something other then a skimmer, but not sure what.

Tks a lot!!

I would say fuge !!! IMO you would benefit more with the fuge than the skimmer in a nano

Considering the dimensions of the sump, I recommend you look into Algae Turf Scrubbers. There are a variety of types to choose from. The amount of nutrient export per the space they occupy is exceptional. They also help to buffer your PH during times when your display light is off.

Are there nano versions of it? How does it work?

What do you think about saving the space of the second chamber for the pumps (chiller, reactors) and using an external macro algae or biopellets reactor?

One version is the Upflow Algae scrubber. If you youtube upflow algae scrubber, you'll find many designs which would work very well for your system. It's even easy to DIY... You can make it exactly the size you want it. Santa Monica Filtration sells a few different upflow models too.
