A couple of options for a small footprint skimmer for a 50g are the Aquamaxx WS-1 and the Tunze Comline DOC skimmer. Good luck with whatever you choose!

Looking for a small footprint skimmer for my IM 50 EXT reset.

Will be coral heavy and only 5-6 fish.

What does everyone suggest? Thanks in advance!
I recommend me the reef octopus 110sss or the 150sss. It is a really good skimmer and is small.

Yeah, i second this! Great bit of kit, the 150 is an absolute work horse and gets the job done!

Personally, I would pick the reef octopus models over the ones that I recommended, however, the skimmers I shared have smaller foot prints. If the reef octopus SSS will fit then that would be my choice.
