Long story short, first tank in some years and first ever reef tabk.

Bought a Biocube 32, quickly realized upgrades were in order due to my preference of SPS corals.

Without having to damage or remove the plastic around the brim (keeping it intact, once I upgrade my daughter wants it) I want to upgrade the skimmer from the little internal it came with.

Since the tank is stocked, not really what I'd say is considered heavy, I decided to try a skimmer rated for a larger tank. The Xyclone, looked nice, but didn't work out with the dual outputs.

I was looking into the Octoreef Classic 90, thinking I could have the output directed into chamber 1. But I am trying to get other opinions and/or experiences of fellow reefers whi have upgraded their biocubes.

Thanks in advance.

IMO I would bother with a Skimmer, I would just find a place you can pick up ChemiPure Blue for a good price and add it to the filtration on the back.
