Skimmer or no

Setting up a 40 gallon frag tank. No sump, but I can put a skimmer directly into the tank if need be. Is a skimmer recommended? Or do you find that a frag tank doesn't need one? This will be a softies frag tank. Mostly leathers and tree corals.

Not entirely necessary but you're reef inhabitants will be happy that you did :)

Dont need one. Water changes will likely have to be your primary export in that case.

Since it's a frag tank I'd assume a light bio load
