skimmer propellers

I have found a couple pieces of my skimmer propeller floating in my sump. Are these things universal? Do I need to order from the same company of the pump? And if they are universal where and what kind is the best to get?

They are not universal. I would search for the company's web site and look for the specific piece made for your model. There are different sizes depending on the pump type, size etc.

Just curious, what type of skimmer and pump is it.

Its a Reef Keeper model #Ins 135. just called the lfs and you have to buy the magnet and all at $60.00. So I will wait till monday and call Reef keeper myself.

You could shave the fins off it and mesh mod it for better performance and it would only cost like 4 or 5$ 1smile1
