I have a Reef Octopus skimmer with a Bubble Blaster Pump HY-5000S with a DC Skimmer Pump VarioS 6-S. The volute fitting is not a match from one pump to the other, what is the best way to couple this new pump to the old skimmer and where is a good place to find a coupler/reducer that will work?

Thanks,

Randy

I don't remember the connection that I used for the Varios 6 that runs my water mixing station, but many pieces in the reef hobby have metric connectors. If you aren't finding the right size in traditional US plumbing parts the check for metric connections. BRS and other online retails often sell these parts. Good luck!
