skimmer question

im thinking about running airline hose from my skimmer pump to outside air .. it would be a good 25 foot run . will it work and whats the benefits to doing this .. any input on this and the pros and cons .

Yea, it would work. It would better stabilize your PH in the winter time when the house is all closed up.

Does it matter how long the air line tube is ??

Kinda, I'd make it a bit bigger for air flow if its really long.

Yes what reefing said above as the longer the run the larger the tubing should be so I would up at least a couple of sizes!

Thats what I was wondering if I needed to go bigger after 10' ..
