I wanted to know what your guys thoughts would be if I were to plumb my overflow line that goes to my sump, directly into my skimmer. I have a 75 gallon display with mostly zoanthids, softies, and a few fish. My sump is a 29 gallon under the stand with an Aquac Remora skimmer. It is just powered by a power head. So, I would disconnect the power head, tie my drain directly into the feed tube. This would reduce my display drain to around half an inch, so I would add a tee to the drain, for overflow, so I wouldn't have to reduce the flow from my return pump to match the reduced drain. Any thoughts? Has anyone done anything similar?
