skimmer riser

I have a eshopps psk-75 skimmer and the depth in my sump is 9.5" I need to raise it up about an inch an a half for an optimal depth or maybe even more if I need to. What is the best way to do this.

You can use egg crate and or PVC to make a stand, or order a acrylic riser on eBay.
