hello everyone was wondering is it good or bad idea to use bio blocks to stack a skimmer on to get the correct water level?

hello everyone was wondering is it good or bad idea to use bio blocks to stack a skimmer on to get the correct water level?

I believe people do it regularly? I would think it would be fine if it wasn't in a high flow area (as I believe they degrade in high flow areas) and you were to keep an eye on it so as to make sure it doesn't degrade and your skimmer falls over

Maxspec company makes one that's supposed to equal to 20 pounds of live rock and won't degrade or need replaced but that's marketing a product thanks for reply I appreciate it
