absolutely love and recommend the aqua max cone series protein skimmer, just put it in yesterday and was virtually no break in period, didn’t even run it in vinegar beforehand and it’s already skimming perfectly, my old reef octopus would always tip over and overflow and would be so hard to get it to skim. absolute game changer
Glad it's working out for you! Never owned anything from AquaMaxx, I have been extremely happy with my Octo skimmers though..
