Skimmer usage?

Dunno but just seems to me that it would make a difference if you have a skimmer that hangs on your DT. If your skimmer is in the sump then it wouldn't be skimming it right out. If anyone has a sock in their sump then it definitely makes no difference cause if it goes through the overflow then the sock catches it. Also if you have a fuge then much of the food that made it to the sump would settle in the fuge area and not make it back up to the tank. For me just not worth turning it off and on and off and on..... JMO

I am kind of surprised by the results so far... So many horror stories about foam cannons and overflowed skimmers and all. Hmmm...
