Skimmer

So I currently am in the process of setting up my first sw tank and at first I was thinking of going sumpless but now I'm adding a sump but I already bought a reef octopus bh2000 hob skimmer should I just keep this skimmer and use it or is there a skimmer out there for under $120 that I could put in sump. I really don't want the hob skimmer but if its better than other skimmers at the 100 dollar level ill keep it.( I bought it used that's why it was 100)
