HI guys, setting up a new 90 gallon tank
for this tank I dont have a plan for a sump like my 56 gallon + in sump skimmer, but I plan on getting a HOB skimmer instead

I am mainly between two choices -
the bubble magus e3 (rated up to 25-80g), 300l/h air intake
and the e5 (rated up to 80-135g), 450l/h air intake

but would also consider the Aquatop ps-370 xyclone too (rated for 100g) (build quality looks a little flimsy??..)

Does size even matter? mine right now is idle most of the time, and if its working - its working good.. is filtration speed the only difference here? ( I have it drained to a larger bottle anyway )

which one would you recommend? and why :face-in-clouds:

Go with the E5. Yes, size matters - as in, when you wish you'd gone with a bigger skimmer and collection cup. The E3 is too small and I don't have any experience with the Aquatop (but I also think it's undersized).

Other choices include Nyos and Reef Octopus.
