Yeah the funny thing is when I had it higher (around >400PAR), it looked like the lighter (left) side of that colony, which is represented on my website. I have since moved it down to lower light, maybe about 320 PAR and now it looks more like the right side of that colony, but not that dark. If you ever see that piece in @SeaDweller 's tank/pics, my colony now looks more like that. I haven't gotten around to taking a new pic for the website though..

Mine went thru a transition phase from your tank though. It went green on me (probably all of the blue LEDs I was hitting it with) then as I increased the whites, it became a light yellow, shedding that green. Eventually now all the new growth is white, which is what I remember distinctly from your tank. One of the purest white acros I've ever seen, aside from skeletons.. lol

I have been looking too... tagging along. I have not seen one in a long time. I hope that one pops up.

I doubt name matters much as that color scheme was common and popular years ago under various names.
I've also experienced more white in the branches higher up............lower and it's more green.
The key is finding one that has the intense blue/purple tips as it really looks great against the white branches.

It's really neat how Acropora can look so totally different under different lighting conditions, even when it'll grow just fine in either case. It really shows the adaptability of the coral and the symbiotic dinos that live with & inside it. There's some research that shows that fluorescence in corals is related to the light level in that it's almost a "sunscreen" of sorts for the dinos.

If ur asking I’m guessing ty doesn’t have his anymore?
It is going to be hard to find one of these that looks close, so the name is important. With the current trend of keeping higher poison levels and lower lighting, these will mostly probably look green body with blueish/purple tips and will not have as much contrast.

U just opened a can of worms bringing up tck in a Bubba threadLooks similar to a Lorpies piece I picked up from @TCK Corals. Maybe Dan could post a pic of his colony shot.
Yes I recall that thread now. Dan has always done right by me and mistakes happen. I've been in the same boat recently with a different vendor. I wont say any names but we are talking about some really expensive high end acros that were nothing what the vendor claimed.
