Well I caught him holding my lawnmower blenny, ate his head right off. Blenny was brand new to the tank. Would the shrimp have killed him or probably just stumbled on his dead body? He was very small. Maybe an inch or so, the shrimp would be significantly larger.

I find it unlikely that the shrimp killed the blenny. Probably as you say, found the corpse and dined. How long was the blenny in the tank?

It hid for 3 days before finding it dead. I figured it died from stress if the shrimp didnt catch it.
