I Just added a skunk shrimp to my tank that currently houses a wild royal gramma that I just bought and 2 captive O. Clown fish (1 month since purchasing). There are a lt of soft corals, snails, and hermits. The tank is 24 g.

I was wondering if anyone else has one and how long it took your fish to get cleaned by the shrimp. I feel bad for the little guy because he is waving his antennas trying to get the fishes attention but no one wants to get cleaned. They get close and check it out. Im just worried because I dont want it to starve since he isnt eating the dead skin and stuff off fish. Thank you!

It took my tangs a while. Maybe a month. But my clowns and bottom dwellers don't really let the shimp touch them (except my dragonet)

I think my clown got a clean down after about a week. I have a small nano tank and now Mr. Tickles is the biggest thing in the tank! Lol. I felt bad for a little while too. But mine is kind of the butt of the tank now. It seems like he molts every other week.

Mine was the size of my thumbnail when I dropped it in. My coral beauty went up to it right away and wouldn't leave it alone. Still doesn't. Guess he just knows.
They are really all over each other all day. My tang took about a week.
Don't worry. They eat everything and he'll get enough as long as you feed. I have a tree coral that food sticks to and he eats off that. If I ever get worried I just smash up some food on my fingers and let him eat off of them. They get pretty tame. Good luck and have fun.
