Hi,
I recently got a stylophora from WWC and it came in the mail yesterday. Since then I’ve noticed some slight melting by the tips. Is this to be expected from the shock of transport, or could something else be off? The other corals don’t seem to be showing as significant a stress response.

I suppose there are many factors to consider. I hadn’t dipped it upon arrival; the salinities between the tank and shipping water matched, however. I had initially placed it in an area with very little flow. I decided to move it to much higher flow, and I’ll see how that works out.
