ok not really an explosion but twice today I have walked up to my aquarium and see masses of this slim like strings with maybe eggs? in it. It spreads all around the tank due to current and then just disappears after a little while. what is this? should I be concerned?

Looks like it could be a tube worm net.
Vermetid Mucous Net
You need to keep an eye on this as it can irritate corals.

yep...sure looks like it. I cant find where the tube/tubes are though. At this point I will let it go but watch it. corals so far don't seem stressed.
