How long have you had him? Is he showing any symptoms like rapid breathing or rubbing/scratching? Tell us about your tank. Flow? Lighting? How long you’ve had it? Your parameters. This will help our FishMedics see if there is something wrong. Based on the little you’ve said I can only say that if it is a small little clown two flakes are just fine. Think of how tiny those stomachs are! We (as in humans) are constantly overfeeding our fish causing many more problems.I need some advice, I purchased a very small clownfish from my LFS and ive tried to feed flakes and he might eat one or two little pieces but that's it . When did you buy the fish? Its normal they will not eat for the first day or two.
Some fish don't like flakes. Good quality pellets are good, and frozen foods like frozen mysis and reef frenzy are are good. Variety is good.
Its a nano tank, 90 litres running for about a month now. haven't turned on the lights and in regards to flow i do have a small wavemaker and the top flow coming from the pump . Only had him for 3 days now and no symptoms like rapid breathing or rubbing/scratching but flow might be little strong for him but i turn everything off before I try to feed himHow long have you had him?
