I just wanna give some new reefers here and the budget people some real world numbers. These lights are 125$ each, 6 channel controllable with night time and day time modes, auto dimming and personally I think they rival any led in its class

Let's talk numbers!

My measurements are taken with an apex par meter in a 264 gallon tank.

Distance from the water = 6"
Depth of meter =
8"
12"
16"
Recorded par
240
150
100
Realistically set for a windex colored tank. Both white channels are set below 20% no green or red channels used.

At 100% on all channels these lights put out around 400 par 10" down into the water.

Personally I don't see anyone unable to use these in any grow out setting on any tank.

I think they will work great! I tried one though and did return it as I did not enjoy the color/spectrum visually as much as other name brand lights. I hope they tweak it a bit at some point.

I think a led bar run next to it would have fixed the problem though.

I just bought one of these lights, and I think I would like it IF I could get the timer for the sunrise and sunset modes figured out.

Hi, I am using 2 of these on my 90 gallon and stuggling with anemones and SPS. My torch is doing well and gsp, zoas, toadstool. Worried I have them too high or too low. Care to share your lighting settings?
