SCIENTIFIC NAME –Chaetodon smithi

COMMON NAME – Smiths Butterflyfish

SIZE – 6.6" (17 cm)

MIN. AQUARIUM SIZE – 75 US Gal. (284 L)

FOODS AND FEEDING – The Smiths Butterflyfish consumes zooplankton in the wild. In captivity, offer marine fare for omnivores & herbivores and macroalgae.

REEF COMPATIBILITY – With caution.

CAPTIVE CARE – The Smiths Butterflyfish should be kept with peaceful tank mates until acclimated and should be kept singly unless the tank is sufficiently sized and all specimens are introduced at the same time. This species prefers an environment with adequate swimming room, plenty of hiding places, and temperatures in the range of 68-75 F (20-24 C).
