Hey all just wanted to know what this is. I think it’s a baby trochus snail because I saw a snail releasing gametes about 3 weeks ago. Just making sure it is what I’m thinking.

pretty sure thats a stoma snail, not trochus.
Thanks. Never had any in the past 8 years. Also it’s a nano tank so everything is a lot closer compared to a 125 where stuff gets lostLooks to be a Stomatella. 3 week old snail babies wouldn’t be that large.
Yea I have 1 baby trochus. I just figured it was just so small it’s shell hadn’t fully hardenedAh, nice, a stomatella! Cute little suckers, and hard to buy on purpose.
Baby trochus snails look like mini trochuses.
Hmmmm learn something new everyday. I was under the impression that the protoconch was soft then developed into its harder teleconch as it grew.Molluscs with shells hatch with the shell already hard. It doesn't work like crustacean exoskeleton- different stuff. Like how coral skeleton is always hard as soon as it exists.
