Snail ID! Pest? Good?

While dipping a coral I pulled off these two tiny snails. @ISpeakForTheSeas Do you have an ID? Are they invasive/pest snails?

Looks like 2 different types. I had the lower one as a CUC for a while. Most died off.

Same kind, both are reef safe.

Well they were not going in! I always remove my mushrooms from the plugs and break the rock they are on and dip them! They usually slide right off and I am able to actually inspect and look on the inside of the rock or plug they were on and usually I find things I don’t want in my tank lol.

No ID offhand here, but my first thought is that these are probably Trochoidean (superfamily Trochoidea) snails of some variety, at least the majority of which are herbivorous to my current knowledge. So, they're most likely reef-safe.

Haha, every now and then something I don't know pops up - unfortunately, I don't have time at the moment to do an in depth look through Trochoidean snails to try for a proper ID (I'm backlogged by a few weeks worth of posts and tags to try and answer at the moment), so the above is the best I can do for now.

If you spend all your time looking for problems that dont exsist. You will waste all your time doing that and not acually getting to enjoy the hobbie.
Yes its good to remove pest but for every 1 you remove there are 10 others.
Dont focus so much on getting it perfect. The ocean isnt perfect. Dont try to make your tank perfect. Its just another version of number chasing.

Step back and enjoy it. This path wont lead you to that. Eventually even after all your hard work. One of your acros will just decided to go poof.Or your hammers or whatever.

Point is enjoy the time you have with your tank and less about this and that. You will learn to manange them as they show up.

There isnt a fix it now solution for this hobbie

Oh yeah I have BJD sometimes but I personally just don’t like worms lol. So I do my best to remove as much as the population before it gets to my tank.

Can anyone ID these snails? They are as prolific as, well snails.
