Maybe not a conch cause it doesnt have those eyes that conches have but i could be wrong.

I don't know for sure, but the texture on the shell there makes me think it's a Muricid/Murex (taxonomic family Muricidae) snail of some variety. If it is a muricid snail, then it's almost certainly predatory.
