This tank is many years old. Now I want to try to create an unusual system in it. And it won't have live rocks. The main task that I have long tried to solve is to create a system in which plankton can live. I will tell you why I need such a system later. Now, here's the beginning. The tank is 60 liters, glass 8mm, instead of argonite sand I use crumbs of sea shells. We sell it for feeding chickens.

Now, there's a build to follow! :) Best of luck- your reason behind this build will be interesting to hear later on! :beaming-face-with-smiling-eyes:

I will be using a design made from lawn molds to arrange the corals. I don't know what to call them. You can see in the photo. I cut them into pieces and fill them with the same shell crumbs. The result is an unusual design with lots of places to place corals.

Filtration in the tank will be accomplished using a scrubber. ATS. But not a standard one. Some time ago I made a scrubber in which very slow compared to the classic flow. And got an interesting result. In such a scrubber grows not filament, but a mixture of protozoan algae and zooplankton. Now I will try to find photos of the contents of the scrubber under a microscope. The video shows that the scrubber produces a lot of small plankton. Such a scrubber is very well suited for the life of such unpleasant characters as dinoflagellates. And the dinos live in the scrubber, but they don't live in the tank. At one time I had a carpet of cyano in this scrubber, and in the tank there was no cyano at all. Maybe I can find a video. But most importantly, this scrubber produces a lot of plankton.
