Snail identification

Hey guys. I came across this today

I couldn't find anything similar online so I went to remove it with tweezers. When doing so, it became two pieces. First, the thing that looks like a hard shell snail:

And then, the second piece that was really really auctioned onto my rock:

I then put them both in a cup to get a better look. O had thought I ripped the shell of the snail, but the shell was moving in the cup. And then I saw the other white thing move as well. What the heck? Lol
