I just bought 4 snails and 4 hermit crabs...they seem to be doing well...the feed I have for them is... new era marine pellets. I am not sure how much to feed them...I drop about 7 or 8 pellets a day...one feed...should I be doing more? is this the right feed ?this is what my reef store told me to use.

I three hermit crabs and three nassarius snails. They just forage for what they need to eat. the cleaner they keep the tank, I'm a happy camper.

i never feed my crabs and snails on purpose they just pick away at the rocks and glass. i've always been warned off sinking pellets, i hear they can pollute your tank.

I personally never fed my snails or crabs. They are to be my clean up crew. But they do fight for each others shells. Lol

They are scavengers, and will keep the tank clean, no need to feed them. Unless you have no fish in there, then I'd throw a few pellets in once a week.
