snails dying

I have now had three snails die they were all upside down i am going to take the most recent one out but does anyone have any idea of why they are dying?

How old is your tank, did you treat anything (like vibrant or the like), what about the rocks-established or new?

yes i have hermit crabs but the snails that died are astrea and trocea

Astrea cannot flip themselves, so you have to do it for them or they will die. How do they even survive in the wild, right?

But trochus should be able to. So there could be something else at fault.
