I really LOVE that scape! I wish I was that talented. Corals are looking nice, thank you for taking the time and sharing the update!
Your Zoa garden is amazing and that coraline. How did you get it so fast did u use live or dry rock? Looking forward to seeing how this tank progressesAsk and you shall receive. Thanks to all for the recent support as well.
Since my last post, my apex has been taken offline. During that time my calcium reactor was offline and I know I had some swings. Some corals got stressed and died, others didn’t skip a beat.
I have added a yellow tang and coral beauty angel to the tank since as well. I haven’t gone crazy with more new corals. I stopped by WWC and got some sand to finally get my fuge completed. Right now it’s a GHA display down there. I bought some more chaeto but it’s not liking having to compete with hair algae. All I know is my Display is 100% nuisance algae free, so all is good! Thanks to my fish!
9 days from today will mark 1 year since I’ve set this aquarium up. What a journey it’s been too! Here’s a few iPhone pics from last night. I have a couple DSLR photos too I took, but I’ll have to upload those later on when I’m home. Enjoy!

I have a Milwaukee controller for my CaRx now and an APC for everything to plug into.

Looks like I have a baby pocillapora growing. And my garf frag is dying... lol
the coralline on my overflow is dense and looks like pink camouflage lol. It’s neat. I definitely can grow some purple stuff in here haha.

Thats mta_! The day after i added both the coral beauty and the yellow tang, i had no more little algae patches in the tank. I love tomini's too, i almost got one over the yellow eye tang. Thanks for the update! Great pics to share and I love the scape as well! Gotta love those algae grazers! My tomini tang and coral beauty definitely ensure I don’t have an algae problem!
Those are actually from an install my company did at the Hard Rock in Hollywood. They came back as extra. They work out great to get up into the tank! I made the tanks stand rather tall, which works for sump space, and i dont have to bend over much to view the tank, now i can access it easily!I love those stairs! I need a set!
Thanks Anxious! The one rock with all those polyps on it was orginially in my old 17 Gallon system for about 2 years. Every bit started as dry rock in there too, but grew nicely. I reused all that rock from my 17 gallon in here plus a bunch of dry rock. I dont really do anything special to grow it fast. lots of flow, and just being stable i suppose is what makes it thrive.Your Zoa garden is amazing and that coraline.
