Any ideas what this clear tube is? Looks like part of the GSP? The tip of the tube is the same color as the GSP tips.

That isn’t gsp by the looks of it. That looks like galaxia. The tube mentioned is a sweeper. Keep away from other coral as it will probably win lol

Update:
My Zoa is fully opened and is a deep red, really cool stuff. The galaxea coral is really neat too, purple and neon green under the lights.
I think dry my rock ia starting to become alive… it’s Alive!!

still figuring out how to take good pictures with lightroom. I still cant capture the colors correctly.

Welcome to the Fluval Flex club and nice tank!
I used the BRS screen top lid for mine. I used all of the elbows to open up the back so equipment can fit back there (can be seen on my build thread). It's a cheap option that has worked for me.

thanks! how is the evaporation with that lid? Right now evaporation is a real problem.

I have a 5 gallon tank underneath for the ATO. Depending, it burns through that in 7-12 days.
There is a pellet stove on the opposite side of the room and it runs the majority of the day and evening right now. With it on, I get a lot of evaporation so I'm typically going through 5 gallons every 7 or so days.

Well I got two small clownfish and a hammer. Everything was going great until the larger clown wedged itself into the rockscape and died. Such is life I guess, just frustrating! Rats..

I went to sleep and they were nothing swimming, this morning she was nowhere to be found, I flipped the rock up and there was a lifeless tail.

well, everything else is taking off! the original clown is loving life.

Super frustrating. I picked up another clown and it seemed strange from the get go... lived about a week then i found it stuck to the power head....arggg. So we had 1 clown fish kill itself and the other one was weird from the getgo. I hope on the second clownish gets better!
