Got my male Biota Mandarin today, so tiny. Thanks so much @AlgaeBarn. He is already nipping around eating pods. Not sure if he ate anything I fed the tank this evening. I fed some PE Mysis pellets and Benereef. I have lots of pods though, so not really worried. I have a veritable smorgasbord tucked away for him; PE Calanus, Joe's, Benereef, flake, the list goes on and on LOL!! My fish eat better than I do.

I have 2 questions.

Does anyone have experience feeding Benereef to the Biota Mandarins?

How do you pack so much cuteness into such a little package?

PiscesPower,

We try our hardest to pack as much cuteness in every package!

Also, I tested out if these captive bred mandarins will eat benereef, and they devour it! I pour a little in and watched them start eating like champs! I added a little more and turned on the camera.

Sadly the little gaffer disappeared in my tank after about 48 hours. Still hoping he pops up somewhere. I'm too short to look into my overflow and my fuge is so full of Chaeto I would never see him if he was in there.
Lesson learned, I should have put him in my smaller tank to let him grow out a bit.
