So back in 2015 @CherryCorals had a live sale and I bought a coral in the after-sale (extra 20% off). It was listed as "Acan Maxima, with potential" and was "only" $100 after all the discounts so what the heck?

I've been nursing this guy along and it slowly settled in and started to color up. Didn't really grow much for the first 2 years, but kept getting deeper coloration, adding more green. Then some purple started showing up. Today, wow it is sweet.

Couple top down shots (not great pics, but shows how insane the purple has gotten on the center)

Very true. Nothing does happen fast in this hobby. I picked up what the LFS thought was a green slimer frag. I have a firm suspicion that it’s actually a pc rainbow frag. Time will tell and I’ll probably know in a few months if my gamble payed off. I love mystery frags.

What are you talking about, I don't see ANY POTENTIAL, its just ugly, I will do you a favor and take it off of your hands so you don't stress out about how ugly it is, LOL!!!;Hilarious

Seriously though, that acan looks AWESOME!!!
