I’ve been having a hard time getting my chaeto refugium running but for the past two weeks it seemed to stabilize. Two days ago my alk dropped and I dosed about 50 cc over approximately 5 minutes through the over flow and today my chaeto is melted to about half. The rest of the tank is unchanged. Will soda ash kill the chaeto?
