It's amazing how much money one can save by being willing to 'live with' a cord in the tank. 🤣
Right! It does bother me, but buying new wetsides bothers me as well. Which one will bother me more we’ll see lol.

I also don’t want to just have to dry sides sitting here being useless.

The Nero 3 is the winner for now. Got over the cord real quick because of the silence finally. Ordered some citric acid and molykote 111 to clean and regrease the non cracked mp10 wetside. Take it apart and notice the smallest crack in the magnet so now I have two dead wetsides. I’ll hang on to the dry sides for now and eventually get some wetsides… maybe.

Anyone have any functional wetsides?
Or if anyone is interested in the dry sides.

Post first 10% waterchange. Can see where I siphoned out the gunk that has built up. The gorg and toadstool with white tips have settled in nicely. Can see the toadstool with white tips has grown some already.

The devils hand leather has kinda settled in, it will expand in size, but not stretch out its polyps. Noticed some mucus coming off it today during the water change.

The green polyp toadstool frag hasn’t opened up at all. Looks like some algae is growing on it, gonna move it to a higher flow area maybe.

Speaking of algae, some has stated to grow on the rocks so it’s time to get some cleanup crew. Probably will get a handful of trochus snails from the LFS. Thankfully so far the glass has only needed to be scraped once, I think the spread of the AI prime is just enough to cover the rock work but not enough to really blast the glass.

Added couple more corals from a local reefer. Two Kenya tree frags and a green sinularia.

The devils hand leather finally opened up, but had to re attach w a rubber band as the zip tie came loose and it didn’t attach yet. The neon green toadstool also showed some polyps today.

Next up- snails.

Added five trochus snails today.

Here’s two of them chowing down.

Where does everyone like to get their soft corals from? A lot of these online retailers charge an arm and a leg for what a lot of people consider beginner corals that grow very fast.

Fantastic start. To me, that cube is just screaming for you to go twice as high with the rocks and make it like a center rock-tower for fish to do a 360 swim-around!

Gorgonian was doing really well, polyps extended. Past couple days has been closed up with some algae growth it seems. In direct flow so not sure what is causing it. Any thoughts? Don’t really want to take it out and scrub it gently if I don’t have to.

Some shots of the tank this afternoon. Corals doing well, gorg bouncing back a little.

Want to add some more corals. What’s everyone’s place for softies?

Couple photos after water change and coral snow yesterday.

The gorg goes through periods of being out then closed up with algae on it. Don’t know why, it’s in direct flow.

Looking very nice. I can see a small frag of neon green cabbage leather in your tank's future! 😉

New coral arrived today from Premierreefsmn (https://www.premierreefsmn.com/).
Packaging was great. The frags/ mini colonies looked great, even got an extra freebie. Polyps were already coming out after being in the tank for 10 minutes. .

10/10 would recommend ordering. Great experience.

Here’s some photos of the tank right now. Didn’t feel like cleaning the glass lol.

Final places not set yet. Thinking of moving the red brick toadstool next to the white polyp toadstool in the upper left. Putting the pink finger leather where the red brick toadstool is. Then mounting one of the other sinularia on the back glass w a magnet.

Love a soft coral tank. I get my softies from corals.com aquacorals.com marinefarmers.com and occasionally non soft specialists - MF tends to be the highest pricing and smallest pieces, but he regularly has very unique things.
