Softies losing color, why, this gsp was pink lime the one in the back, now it’s white, zoas are doing it to. First started with the mushroom. This one was red but now almost transparent. He keeps moving and leaving babies but no color. What can this be? Please help
It’s a 40 breeder and i run two Nicrew 50w bought them at amazon. I been running them since the start and everything was fine. I run them for 8 hours a day.
Looks like some serious bleaching. GSP can usually withstand some really high PAR though. I’m not familiar with this light but do you know what intensity you have them at? Do you have a PAR meter? Also check your temperature. Could be too high.
Edit: After looking at the pictures again it seems odd that it’s only some of the coral in similar locations of the tank. The last picture looks like the mushroom is even in a shaded area. Something is making them expel their zooxanthellae.

Reproduction is sometimes a stress response.
Can you think of anything else thats changed?
Check your temperature and ph.
Corals in the ocean are beaching because the water is getting warmer and more acidic from atmospheric co2.
