I have a new tank I'm fine tuning, I have some kenya trees, pulsing xenia, weeping willows, torch and some gsp. Setting up powerheads and i have low gph heads but still seems too high for some. The willow doesn't seem to care either way, torch curls right up if its even a little too fast, xenia don't seem to mind they just look like they're gonna fly off there rock, kenya tree curls up if it's not perfect. Can you post some videos please who have any of these qith normal flow. Thanks in advance

Are the pumps pointing at them? My pumps are near the top and point upward towards each other. They create some turbulent flow but nothing is blowing around the tank.

Try adjustable wavemakers. Tune them in to your needs.

I have several, couple pointed down, couple pointed up. Have alot of rocks cape and sand so hard balance to keep sand from blowing everywhere too and keep detritus to a minimum.

I have a 1 of a kind wave maker my uncle built you attach powerheads too but 2 outlets are acting a little goofy so need to get it looked at. Looking for some videos on people's set up for these softys

a DIY wavemaker? Then how do you know how powerful it is? Usually you can make a judgment call based on gph and gallons.... Corals love flow, but not one-way linear flow, it should be random flow patters that make the coral sway back and forth gently....... If you can post a short video will be easier for people to give advice, but typically, I always have 2 powerheads across from each other, aimed upwards to break up the surface and the flow meets in the middle and bounces off each other...
