Hello, I have several snails sporting these long stalked radar dish looking plant something. They look pretty cool actually.Reminds me of a martian antenna from an old 60's cartoon LOL
Here's a pic. It's in the middle toward the top. HPIM8936.JPG

Interesting. Haven't seen anything like this before. I did however notice that you are from the future (12-01-18) so welcome to the past! ;Hilarious;Hilarious;Hilarious
Do the "satellite dishes" retract in? If so i'd say fan worms attached to your snail.
#reefsquad any ideas on this interesting possible algae?

Umbrella algae looks like a match! They don't retract.Makes locating the snails easy. Crabs, I wish I was at least closer to the future than I am. I put up 4 sections of privacy fence & dug up/replaced 2 4by4's today. That got old real quick ! LOL. When I used the term "radar dish" instead of satellite . I was letting my age show ! As for the bubble? It's actually on the decline. This bubble stuff has vexed me for years ! Thanks for the ID!

Pretty sure you can buy those snails with the algae on them like that.

I had some. Forget what they’re called.

They are just some dollar trochus snails from the lfs. Wonder if I can make some $$? Iv'e been trying to pass off this bubble algae as "Sea Grapes " & sell them to some trendy West Coast restaurant . ;)
