I caught my Attenuatus flasher showing off last night as the halides went off and my T-5's were still on. He must of been greeting the new guys in town.

What is the last fish you posted and the name of the one in the original post you said was your favorite? Is the last one just a flasher wrasse?

The fish in the last pic is my Attenuatus flasher wrasse. The picture that I said is my favorite, is my Doliatus Rabbitfish that I've had for 8 years now.

Hey what fish picked on what I'd like to know who did what for reference sake thanks!

If you are talking about the 2 in the acclimation box, I bought them from my LFS that way. The filamented had been picked on by a yellow tang that was in with it. That's why I bought him to get him out of there.

I can't keep Brain type corals, acans, scolymias. Because of the angels but most other lps are fine. I just keep them well fed.

Wow those are simply awesome Brad. What setting do you use? I have a Nikon D5000 and I have a hard time trying to get good photos of my fish... Do you use a macro lens?

Thanks Rob, I have gotten a few more fish in the past 6 months, and I'm somewhere around 35-38 fish total now. I do 25g w/c every 10 days and I do run a Korrallin Bio-Denitrator 24/7.
And with my Deltec AP702 skimmer, I stay good and clear.

Interesting, I have not heard of many going that direction. Is it costly to maintain, what kind of maintenance is required for a unit like that?

 Peter, I;m sure you will be getting another one in the future. I'll keep posting pictures to keep the pressure on.

Most of the cost is upfront. Once you buy it, it's basically plug &play. I change out the sulphur beads once a year. which is about 60 bucks.
Very impressive photos of beautiful fish. Your photography skills aren't too shabby either.

Thank you.

So I get home today from work and see that my #1 fish on my wish list is back on Divers Den. I look at my tank and think to myself, There's just no more room! (unless I give away my big hippo tang) I've had her for 8 yrs and I'm thinking of punting her for a tamarin wrasse. I'm really sick. LOL

He's a big healthy one Brad! I stared at him for about an hour on Saturday when I was there ... I just can't pull the trigger on one yet! ;)

Oh how I would love to. It's just that my tank looks like a conjested freeway already.
If you click on my camera , you'll see what I mean.

The first step to recovery is admitting you have a problem, and that my friends is oh so true.
Your problem is you need a bigger tank so you do have room to keep adding them!
I think it's time to pump the brakes a little, start saving and upgrade this master piece to something BIGGER!!
