They're known to chew through power cords and eat Caroline algae. Lettuce slugs are great, but usually get blended up by a circulation pumpI've heard that pencil urchins are NOT reef safe tho
I have a pincushion and he won't touch my GHA or turf algea......Small pincushion or tuxedo urchin. Both do a great job in a reef tank...... although, nothing is ever a reef safe guarantee.
