Something Strange Growing on Halimeda

Just got home and noticed something growing on my halimeda. Kind of looks like broccoli or some type of eggs. Also it turned a weird yellow color and bleached a little bit.

Please post clearer pic under white lighting and assure lens and glass are clean

Looks like what others have attributed to halimeda "going sexual" and releasing spores.
