Instructions for Use:
Dosage:

• 4 tablespoons / 2oz / 56g per 1 quart / 1 litre

Process:

• Add 2oz / 56g of Pump Clean to 1 Quart of water and mix until the solution has fully dissolved
• Fully submerge pump in solution
• Wait 3-4 hours for DRY calcified deposits
• Wait 2-3 hours for WET calcified deposits
• Use a soft brush to gently scrub the pump

It’s an acid,

probably citric.

labeled as a pump cleaner. But who knows. Might have some other additives they found useful.

Our Italian team worked with chemists so that the consumer doesn't need to be concerned with wearing protective eye wear or goggles while handling, and it also won't hurt your livestock in cases where it gets accidentally added to the aquarium.

So what's wrong with the 5 kg of 100% pure food grade citric acid I bought 2 months ago for less than USD 20?

Means USD 15 for 900 g of somehow thinned down thus less aggressive citric acid with green dye added?

We'll see.

My personal thoughts are that there is no real difference between this and regular food grade citric acid. Which you can buy much cheaper. This is what i have been using for years now and have had no ill effects. I personally feel its just a marketing ploy to make more money.
